Work consists of furnishing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else required to repair PMEL Lab Bldg. 425 at Nellis AFB, NV. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: (1) modifying existing HVAC system and ductwork (2) replacing all existing pneumatic controls with digital controls (3) Repairing and sealing exterior walls (3) Retrofitting existing fluorescent fixtures with high efficiency lamps and electrical ballast (4) Provide electrical support for new mechanical units (5) perform asbestos and lead-based paint abatement as required. This is a Firm Fixed Price type contract with an estimated dollar value of the base bid portion of this contract to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The construction performance period will be approximately 180 calendar days. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1711 with a three (3) year average annual small business size standard of 7 million. The proposed contract listed here is being solicited as unrestricted. The successful contractor will be selected using a past performance/price tradeoff procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the government. Past performance will be considered of more importance than the price. Evaluation preference may be given to HUB Zone registrants.
