The army requires a firm fixed price construction contract to furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment,and perform all work required in connection with REPLACE HVAC, BUILDING 813, HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, GEORGIA. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items: (1) Remove and dispose of existing air handling units, steam supply piping, condensate return piping, steam unit heaters, and asssociated HVAC controls as indicated; (2) Provide and install steam supply piping, condensate return piping, and steam unit heaters as indicated; (3) Provide and install air handling units and connect to existing ductwork as indicated; (4) Replace existing HVAC control system with electronic or electric components; (5) Reconnect to existing electrical service and provide new electrical service as applicable; (6) Clean existing ductwork and associated air devices; and (7) Test and balance new heating/cooling system, duct work and diffusers in accordance with specifications. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The SIC Code for this project is 1711. This project is being solicited UNRESTRICTED. All responsible bidders may submit a bid that will be considered. The performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice To Proced. A definite response date or date for receipt of bids has not been established at this time.
