The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ is seeking potential additional sources for Qualified Products List QPL-5527-17, Products Qualified Under Military Specification MIL-V-5527 Valves, Aircraft, Hydraulic Thermal Expansion Relief. In accordance with FAR 9.204, this notice is hereby published to solicit additional sources or products to seek qualification in accordance with the QPL. The specification establishes the requirements for hydraulic thermal expansion relief valves of the following types and classes: Single IAW drawing AN6245, Dual IAW Standard MS28016, Class A -- pressure range 1,000 to 2,100 psi (cracking pressure), Class B -- Pressure range 2,100 to 4,100 psi (cracking pressure), and Class AB -- Pressure range 1,000 to 4,000 psi (cracking pressure). Interested sources shall contact the Contracting Officer for copies of the QPL specification.
