Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources that can provide the inspection, repair, preservation, packaging, marking and delivery of NSN 3110-01-048-0583, Double EB-2600-EX1GC, Bearing, Self Aligning Double Roller 26", used on 400' WAGB vessels, Quantity: 2 Each. Delivery to be made to U S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. It is the Government's belief that only Cooper Bearing Inc. or their authorized distributors can provide the work as described. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to Cooper Bearing Inc. are not available within the Government and are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Cooper Bearing Inc. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered repair: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics, or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer.
