65 -- EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SOL RFP-797-FDF2-00-57 POC Monica J. Pileggi, 301-610-4070 The Air Force Medical Logistics Office/Veteran's Affairs Special Services is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide management, tools, supplies, test equipment, parts and labor necessary to maintain and repair various equipment items located at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base, MS. Also, Endoscope services shall be provided for under this contract. Some of the equipment on the contract shall be maintained by the manufacturer (Acuson, Hewlett Packard, ATL Ultrasound, Toshiba, Sterrad, Collins Medical, and ADAC). This includes, but is not limited to equipment by Pyxis, Narcomed, AMSCO, IBM, Medrad, Medfusion, IMED, Aloka, GE, Kodak. The Contractor shall furnish maintenance service support to include corrective and preventive maintenance of each specific line item to ensure a minimum monthly up time of 95%. The Contractor shall also provide in-house training to government personnel to meet in-house maintenance responsibility once per year at no additional cost to the government. Period of service will be October 1, 2000 or date of award, which ever is later, through September 30, 2001 with four, one year option periods, if exercised.
