This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DAAD07-00-R-0217 is issued as Request for Proposal(RFP). The anticipated contract will be 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract with one Base Year performance period and one option period. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. The standard industrial code (SIC) is 3569 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Contract Line Items: Clin 1000 Base Contract Year, One(1)each Climatic Test Chamber, CLIN 1010 Two(2) copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals. CLIN 2000 Option Period, One(1) each Climatic Test Chamber, CLIN 2010 Two(2) copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals. The government will award to the technically acceptable low cost proposal evaluated against the elements in Part 3 and 4 of the WSMR PD 6001-00 which can be obtained electronicaly under http://www.wsmr.army.mil/docpage/docpage.htm. The Quality Assurance requirements in this PD shall be met by compliance with inspection test in Part 4 of PD. The government will require 30 days to perform the test included in Part 4 of PD. Offerors responding to this solicitation must submit unit and extended price for all CLINS, prompt pament terms and a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 1999).
