This notice corrects the Classification Code and extends the response date. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is NMA201-00-R-0627 and this solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This is not a total small business set-aside. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency wishes to procure the following six (6) line items: CLIN 0001 -1 each, part number LDK-6000-EFP LDK 6000 HD 720P CCD Camera with EFP back with 1.5Mb output, 2" viewfinder B/W, CLIN 0002 -1 each, part number 8926-590-00002 LDK 12-15 Vdc, 7A power supply w/ cable, CLIN 0003 -1 each, part number 8926-460-90001 master control panel, MCP-2 HD system required, CLIN 0004 -1 each, part number 75-041945-003 Initialization and orientation, CLIN 0005 -1 each, part number 8926-811-31001 MCP/OCP control cable, 4 pin (10 meter), CLIN 0006 -1 each, part number 8926-811-33001 MCP/OCP control cable, 4 pin (30 meter). Acceptance shall be at destination upon delivery. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The delivery will be to National Imagery and Mapping Agency (ATTM-MIPO), 12310 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia 20191. The provision at 52.212-1, "Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items" applies to this order. Interested parties shall submit offerors which include the 11 items outlined in FAR 52.212-1(b). The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest; accept other than the lowest offer; and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. Provision at 52.212-2, "Evaluation-Commercial Items" is hereby incorporated by reference. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced offer of the responsible offeror, whose past performance is acceptable, whose offer conforms to the solicitation to satisfy the Government need, and whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government. Offerors are to include a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items", with offer. The clause at 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items", is hereby incorporated by reference.
