USDA, APHIS, MBS intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Merial to supply various rabies baits to several Federal, State and University entities. This contract is anticipated to be a Blanket Purchase Agreement for Wildlife Services which will allow for quantity buys for fish polymer and sachet baits for coyotes, raccoons and grey fox. This contract is being handled as a commercial item procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12. SIC 2833 applies. This announcement is to make the procurement known to further subcontracting opportunities for small, small disadvantaged, women-owned and HUBZone companies. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB destination. Solicitation 87-M-APHIS-00 incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 97-17. The product being procured is a licensed, patented item availble at the present time only from Merial.
