The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Warren (TACOM-Wrn) has a requirement for the engineering services to support the Light Armored Vehicle-Service Life Extension Program. The technical services include engineering, services, supplies, materials and testing as may be necessary to accomplish specific technical tasks. This includes design, system modeling, technical analysis, prototype of components, and logistic support. The anticipated release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is 1 August 00. The Government intends to make a sole-source award to Metric Systems Corporation, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c)(1), as authorized by FAR 6.302 (a) (2) (iii).
