buildings, a six bay ammunition surveillance facility and an
administrative building. The total gsf for both buildings is 7,723 gsf.
The ammunition surveillance facility consist of a structural steel
frame, supporting steel roof joists and a standing seam metal roof
system. The exterior walls are constructed of 8" and 12" cmu, non-load
bearing, with a 2"" air space and 4" split face block veneer. The
dividing walls between the inspection bays are constructed of
reinforced concrete designed to resist an accidental explosion in an
adjacent bay. The ceiling finish is exposed construction. The
inspection bays have conductive, spark-proof, industrial resinous
flooring. The electrical room and storage bay floors are stained and
sealed. A 4" high loading dock surrounds the facility, with loading
dock levelers at each bay (both ends) and on the north end of the
facility. The ammunition surveillance facility will have wall and roof
insulation. The facility has a railroad spur runningfrom an existing
rail line to/along one side of the facility, and a truck-parking pad
along the other end of the facility. The truck parking area is to be
asphalt, with concrete strips at the individual pads. The
administrative building is constructed of load bearing cmu walls
supporting steel roof joists, and a standing seam metal roof system.
Exterior walls are 8" cmu with a 2" air space and 4" split face block
veneer. Interior walls are painted cmu and ceiling finish is painted
gypsum wallboard. The floor finish is VCT throughout this building.
This building will have a small asphalt parking lot. There are four
small administrative offices within this building, as well as a men and
women toilet, and a break-room. The ammunition surveillance facility
will have lightening protection. The site will have a fenced septic
tank field. There will be a beam on the rail spur side of the
Ammunition Surveillance Facility. Estimated cost range of this project
is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Network Analysis will berequired.

posted on the internet at the above address unless the total amended
compressed files are greater than 5 MBYTES, in which case a new CD ROM
disk will be issued. For amendments that are only posted on the
Internet, SF 30, Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract,
and a list of revised specifications and drawings will be mailed to
each bidder. NOTE: All requests for solicitation packages must be made
in writing no later than July 30, 2000. Requests may be faxed to

until supply is exhausted. It has been determined that the number of
