Proposals will be opened on 8-29-00 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. Please notify this office if you will be requesting a solicitation package. The value of the work is estimated to be between $2,000,000 and $2,300,000. Description of the work is: The project consists of construction of a new USPS Antioch Carrier Annex approximately 18,000 square feet. Location of project is 4701 NE Barry Road, Kansas City, MO. Prices/proposals will be good for 120 days after solicitation closing. Construction is slated to begin approximately March 1, 2001. Construction time will be approximately 365 days. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 365 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICA-TIONS.
