The project is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract to obtain various exterior and interior painting work at rates set forth in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity Work Items. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tansportation, material, equipsment and supervision required to peform surface preparation on previously painted and un-painted buildings, application of new paint, taping and spackling work, replacement of caulking and putty, repair of flashing/sheetmetal, repair of concrete cracks and spalls, cutting/trimming of trees and shrub and other related work. The work also includes, the removal and disposal of lead containg paint and incidental related work. All work shall be located at various federal installations on Guam. The term of the contract is for Base Year and Four Option Years of 12 months each. The contract minimum is $50,000.00 per year. The contract term shall commence on the date of award and shall be for a period of twelve months or until the maximum amount of work has been ordered, whichever occurs first. The Government may extend the term of the contract in accordance with the Option to Extend the Term of the Contract clause. The estimated dollar range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 for base and four option periods. Solicitation will be made available at website address: http://esol.navafc.navy.mil at later date. This procurement is limited comptetition to 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) program who are serviced by the Hawaii District Office with address at U. S. Small Business Administration, Hawaii District Office, 300 Ala Moana Boulevard, Ste. 2314, Honolulu, HI 96850 and who submits evidence of bonding in the prescribed amount. Firms that are not serviced by the Hawaii District Office, but who have a veriable office and employees located within the geographic area served by the Hawaii District Office at the time of this CBD annoumcement are eligible to submit bids. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The Standard Industrial Code is 1721.
