requires repairs and improvements for the existing swimming beach
retaining wall and the existing boat ramp at the Big Larch Campground.
Work involves installation of a blind drain to stabilize the ground
behind the retaining wall, installation of a geocell membrane to
stabilize the beach front of the wall, and replenishment of the beach
sand which has washed away from the front of the wall, also reattach
and add concrete planks. The work site is located on the Seeley Lake
Ranger District, Lolo National Forest, Missoula County, Montana. This
project will be advertised as a written quotation, and will be
solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules.
Quotes are due August 28, 2000. The estimated start work date is
September 5, 2000. The performance period is approximately 45 calendar
days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All
responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Posted
