This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 and DCN 20000606. Solicitation number F41685-00-T0117 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) to furnish the following item: Item 0001: One each Ingersoll-Rand SSR quiet enclosed two-stage rotary screw air compressor, model XFE200-2s. This SSR compressor is a 200 horsepower, 460V/3PH/60HZ electric motor driven, two-stage rotary screw compressor, completely piped, wired and base plate mounted on a steel skid. It is a totally self-contained and integrated air compressor package. In accordance with FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998), the following solicitation provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Mar 2000), FAR 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation_Commercial Items (Jan 1999) with the following evaluation factors: Price related factors, and Past Performance.
