AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION NUMBER SOL PR-HQ-00-YA0002 FOR WAVELENGTH DISPERSIVE X-RAY FLOURESCENCE SPECTROMETER SYSTEM The following specifications in the Statement of Work have been changed to read as follows: #3 The X-ray tube shall be a end window tube with a window thickness of 75 micrometers or less. The tube shall contain a rhodium anode. #6 The system shall contain an optical means for positioning the goniometer which is independent of gears and that allows decoupling of theta and 2-theta motions so they can be independently positioned. #8 The EPA requires a spectrometer having a minimum of two X-ray detectors, a scintillation counter, and a flow proportional counter. All the detectors shall be mounted inside the vacuum chamber. The temperature stability in the vacuum chamber shall be 0.1 degrees Celsius or better.
