AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION NUMBER SOL PR-HQ-00-YA0002 FOR WAVELENGTH
DISPERSIVE X-RAY FLOURESCENCE SPECTROMETER SYSTEM The following
specifications in the Statement of Work have been changed to read as
follows: #3 The X-ray tube shall be a end window tube with a window
thickness of 75 micrometers or less. The tube shall contain a rhodium
anode. #6 The system shall contain an optical means for positioning the
goniometer which is independent of gears and that allows decoupling of
theta and 2-theta motions so they can be independently positioned. #8
The EPA requires a spectrometer having a minimum of two X-ray
detectors, a scintillation counter, and a flow proportional counter.
All the detectors shall be mounted inside the vacuum chamber. The
temperature stability in the vacuum chamber shall be 0.1 degrees
Celsius or better. THE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS IS EXTENDED:
