The Oregon Army National Guard is in need of 800 Objective Lens Assembly for the AN/PVS-5 Night Vision Goggles. Description is as follows: Linear distortion of the objective assembly at the edge of the 18mm shall be between 2.5 percent and 8.5 percent barrel distortion. Field of View of the objective lens assembly shall be 40o + 1/-3. The F / number of the objective lens assembly shall be no greater than F/1.1. The T / number of the objective assembly shall be no greater than T/1.25. The stray light of the objective lens assembly shall be no greater than 2.5 percent. The Modulation Transfer Function values of the objective lens can be obtained by contacting the Contracting Office. The Filed Flatness / Filed Tilt of the objective lens assembly shall be within 0.3mm across the entire 18mm format for radial and/or tangential focus. At full aperture, the image illuminance at the edge of the format shall be no less than 30 percent of the image illuinance on axis. The weight of the objective lens assembly without the protective cap shall not exceed 104 grams. Drawings are available by facsimile. Award will only be made to a contractor registered on the Central Contractor Registration. Bids will be due the 26th of July, 2000.
