This is an amendment to change the Statement of Work (SOW), Submission No. 470979, submiteed 3 July 2000, Subject: 4WARN URBAN SYSTEM The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), 6801 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310-3398, is undertaking a special program to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) WMD preparedness for special evenets. This project is name the Smart Building Project and has the primary goal of providing Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) protection to the occupants of the 5th and 6th floor. As part of the Smart Building Project, the need exists to supply sensors for biological, chemical, and radiological detection. The Contractor shall provide the following: (1) Integrate chemical and radiological sensors with the presently available 4WARN Urban in order to minimize costs, will use a chemical sensor based on the system developed by the Defense Research Establishment Ottawa (DREO). (2) Include an assessment for the level of effort required to integrate these additional sensors with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Consequences Assessment Tool Set (CATS). Based on this assessment and coordination with CATS contractor, integration of additional sensors may or may not be required as the interface already exists between the 4WARN Urban and CATS. (3) Demonstrate the integrated 4WARN Urban as developed under Task 1 during the JFT 6 trial period. JFT 6 trials are presently scheduled at (DRES) in early September 2000. As the execution of JFT 6 trials are not the responsiblity of Contractor. Contractor will make the 4WARN Urban available for a one-day demonstration at a location on or near the JFT 6 trial site, and will coordinate with (DRES) for the appropriate demonstration location.
