The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a requirement for technical computer related support services for operation, maintenance, database management, user assistance, and training in support of the Industrial Logistics Support Management System (ILSMIS) located at Dahlgren, Virginia and CSS Panama City, Florida and for database management of Sponsor Owned Material assets on the Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support System (JCALS) located at Dahlgren, Virginia. This requirement is a follow-on to the support currently being provided by Digital Systems International Corp (DSIC) under N00174-95-D-0005. The contract will be for a base year beginning 01 October 2000 with four one-year options. NSWCDD intends to award the contract on a sole source basis to DSIC. DSIC is the contractor currently providing the service with the corporate resources having the specific knowledge, specialized experience, and expertise to support ILSMIS and maintain Dahlgren's Sponsor Owned Material Inventory in JCALS. In addition, DSIC resources have direct functional experience with ILSMIS and JCALS relevant to NSWCDD's use of ILSMIS and JCALS within its business processes for material and property management, inventory control, financial interface, and procurement. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued by 01 August 2000 with award anticipated by 30 September 2000. Interested parties other than DSIC must demonstrate, in writing, their capability to provide the required services.
