This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns (See Numbered Note 1). The Network Engineering Division (NED) of the USDA Office of the Chief Information Officer conducts measurement and analysis studies of network resource requirements for USDA and other Government agencies. The studies can include (a) Baseline of the Application and/or Network; (b) Network Traffic Analysis; (c) Application Traffic Analysis; (d) Capacity Studies; and (e) Design Alternatives. NED requires technical assistance in conducting these analyses. Therefore, it is the intent of the Government to negotiate and award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract on a time-and-materials basis for this support. NED is located in Fort Collins, CO. The performance period is anticipated to be for a base period commencing October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with four 12-month option periods.
