M -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACTS. The U.S. Air Force intends to award three sole source contracts for continuing services on the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). These are follow-on actions and the performance period for each award is 1 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01. The first award is to Lockheed Martin Systems Support and Training Services, 4151 North Pecos Road, Suite 207, Las Vegas, NV 89115 as an extension to contract F26600-95-C0037. Services under this award consist of operations and maintenance of electronic threats and targets on the NTTR, excluding Route Integration Instrumentation System (RIIS) services and support. The second award is to Arcata Associates, Inc., 4220 Arcata Way, North Las Vegas, NV 89030 as an extension to contract F26600-95-C0033. Services under this award consist of technical engineering support services on the NTTR, excluding RIIS services and support. The third award is to Cabaco, Inc., 1849 Paseo San Luis, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 as an extension to contract F26600-95-C0043. Services under this award consist of operation and maintenance of base facilities at Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field and other areas throughout the NTTR. All three contracts expire on 30 Sep 00 and the extensions are required for continuing support of operations and maintenance on the NTTR. Statutory authority for these sole source extensions is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
