The FLETC is a 2500 person organization consisting of federal and contractor personnel engaged in training law enforcement students from approximately 70 separate federal agencies and various state, local, and international clients. Daily average student enrollment in Government fiscal year 1998 was 1383, fiscal year 1999 the number was 2176, and anticipated enrollment for fiscal year 2000 is 2374. Lodging days leased from off-site facilities in fiscal year 1998 was 7480, fiscal year 1999 the number was 7131, and is anticipated to be approximately the same in fiscal year 2000. Growth in tourism may limit the availability of local hotel accommodations at reasonable rates.
