for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations
are being requested and a written solicitation package will not be
issued. Solicitation number DAHA45-00-T-0027 is issued as a request for
quotation. The period of performance for this purchase order will be
25-27 August 2000. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7011. This is
a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Conference services to include
lodging, meals, classroom set-up, audio-visual equipment and
administrative support for 125 people. Conference location must be
within a 30-minute commute from Sea-Tac International Airport.
Specifications as follows: CLIN #1_13 double occupancy guest rooms with
private bath for 2 nights; CLIN #2_60 single dormitory rooms with
shared bath for 2 nights; CLIN #3_conference rooms: one large
conference room capable of holding at least 250 people, available 25-27
August 200, 6 smaller conference/classroom/ breakout rooms, capable of
holding at least 30 people for both 26 and 27 August; CLIN #4_buffet
type meals for 125 attendees, 2 ea breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners;
CLIN #5_4 ea additional conference/breakout rooms for 2 days capable of
holding 30 people; CLIN #6_ audio visual equipment, to include one VCR,
one attached 20-inch television. Projections screens to be available in
each conference room. Dining facility must be easily accessible from
conference room area. Interested contractors are required to submit a
technical description of their facilities in accordance with FAR
52.212-1. All responsible sources who can fulfill the above
requirements shall submit a written quote and other relevant
information regarding their facility and accommodations, which must be
compatible. The Government will award a contract resulting from this
solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the
solicitation will be mostadvantageous "Best Value" to the Government,
price and other factors considered. Evaluation will be based on the
following factors: 1) Price, 2) lodging requirements described in this
announcement, 3) conference rooms described in this announcement, 4)
food service described in this announcement, 5) audio visual services,
and 6) past performance. Any factors that contribute to the
effectiveness of the training session will be given consideration.
Offerors should provide references to be used for evaluating your past
performance, a list of three (3) agencies/companies (please include
the address, telephone number and contact person) for which you have
provided similar services within the past three (3) years. The
provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, and
FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, apply to this
acquisition. Evaluation/award will be made to that offeror whose quote
meets the specifications listed above and is most advantageous price
to the government. Offerors shall include a fully executed copy of FAR
provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications --
Commercial Items, with their offer. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract
Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.232-33, Payment
by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS
Clause 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration apply to

responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit
written quotations no later than 7 days from the published date of this
announcement. The government intends to award a firm fixed price order.
All quotes shall include price(s); FOB point; a POC (name and telephone
number); GSA number if applicable; business size and payment terms.
Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. This
award is being made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Part
13 of FAR. The Government will not be responsible for any costs
associated with the preparation and response to this announcement.
