The project consists of resurfacing, drainage and other miscellaneous work from Milepost 291.7 at the NC Route 321 interchange, to Milepost 298.6 at Holloway Mountain Road. Project work includes roadway excavation; placement of aggregate base; placement of aggregate-topsoil; hot asphalt concrete pavement; installation of stone curb and guardrail; removal and resetting of stone masonry; pavement striping; erosion control mat; construction traffic control; and other miscellaneous work.
