DESC: Delete previous CBD announcement and use the following in lieu thereof: Furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the repair of railroad crossing signals at the railroad crossing on N.Y. Route 342, Fort Drum, New York to include removal of the existing signals, installation of new controls and signals, in compliance with New York State Department of Transportation and railroad company requirements, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract type will be "Firm Fixed Price Construction." This will be a total Small Business Set-Aside issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(2), and DFAR 219.1006(b)(2). The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1629. This procurement will be issued Subject to Availability of Funds (SAF) and is estimated to be between $100,000.00 -- $250,000.00. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 27 July 2000. The DUE DATE for the Invitation for Bid (IFB) shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's web page. The IFB will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page and no hardcopies will be provided. All sources wishing to submit a bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the IFB.
