Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to make improvements to the operations building substation and the uninterruptible power systems at the NOAA/NESDIS Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition station in Fairbanks, AK. The work consists of: reconfigure power feed for the 26m antenna; re-wire Static UPS connections; replace existing 5KV feeder between generator and operations building; replace operations building technical power transformer (provided as Government furnished property) and install on new concrete foundation; and provide a key interlock system for secondary circuit breakers. Existing station operations must be maintained during project work. All work is to be completed no later than October 30, 2000. This procurement is unrestricted, with an estimated cost range of $100,000 to $250,000, under SIC 1731.
