This work consists of removal and disposal of existing furnaces, fabrication of plenums/stands, fabricate transitions to attach supply, and uninstall/reinstall associated ductwork. Remove and cap any outside air ducts or grills. Connect I.D. fan outlet to existing 14" Stack. Install drip leg from stack clean our piped to drain or outside. Install Government furnished thermostats and modulating burner control. This work will be performed in a hazardous noise area. A pre-bid site visit is tentatively scheduled for 10 Aug 2000, at 10:00 a.m. local time. As this work is in a restricted area, all interested parties will attend the scheduled pre-bid site visit. An Entry Authority Listing (EAL) will be required to attend the pre-bid site visit as follows: (1) must be on company letterhead include: full name, address, telephone number, position with the firm, last 6 of Social Security Number, and date and place of birth. The EAL must be received in this office no later than sever calendar days prior to site visit. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and 100,000. The Standard Industrial Code is 1711.
