Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to replace the chillers and fan coil units in the basement area of Building 3073. The principle features include, but are not limited to, the following: Building 3073 is 30,576 square foot facility and consists of two floors, a full size basement and a full size attic. It is heated by steam from a central plant. A chiller and cooling tower located in the attic served two air handlers, which supply air to the first and second floors. The chiller also serves ceiling mounted fan coil units in the bawement. An additional packaged chiller located at grade was recently installed due to the deteriorated capacity of the attic chiller. Asbestos insulation was used throughout the pipe and duct systems. The building is a historic structure and the first and second floors will be occupied during construction. The soliciation will be issued as Full and Open Competition. This solicitation will be posted to the website at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil. No paper soliciation is or will be made available. The soliciation will not be made available from any other source than the website above.
