The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), requires roof repair/replacement for it's Building 003, BARC-West, Beltsville, Maryland 20705. This will require a Dura slate roofing system/roytech polymer compound. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1761, with a small business size standard of $7.0 Million. One Site Visit will be scheduled for August 8, 2000, (date subject to change). The Government recommends that contractors proposing on the project to visit the site and make themselves aware of the roof conditions. Magnitude of project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The anticipated solicitation release date is July 28, 2000, and award date is September 11, 2000. Solicitation packages are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
