synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided
in this notice. This is for the purchase of a Ramp Cargo Dolly. PLEASE
READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE
THAT WILL BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F65501-00-00Q0269 is issued as
a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated document provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15.
The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3537. This
requirement is unrestricted. RAMP CARGO DOLLY: Line Item 0001: 1 EA,
RAMP CARGO DOLLY P/N 342266-13H, Manufacturer is Lockheed Martin
Corporation. The Mate Aft Cargo door dolly is used on the C-130/382
series aircraft to hold the aft cargo door. The cargo door dolly is
fully hand operated. Adjustable in the forward, aft, and side to side
directions. Mounted on casters, which contain brakes for each caster as
well as footman brake for stability. Contains a solid standing
platform, dimension: 92.6"x83.8"x17", weight: about 600lbs. Delivery
terms shall be FOB destination 17470 AIRLIFTER DR, ELMENDORF AFB, AK
99506, NLT 05 AUG 00. The following provisions and clauses are
incorporated and shall remain in effect in any resultant purchase
order: FAR PART 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, FAR Part 52.212-1,
Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items is incorporated by
reference. The provision at FAR Part 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial
Items, applies to the solicitation. Award will be made based on
low-price/technically acceptable offeror. The government reserves the
right to make award on the initial quote received without discussions.
Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR
Part 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial
Items with its quote. FAR Part 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies
to this acquisition. Note the following addenda to FAR 52.212-4,
Incorporate DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor
Registration. Incorporate the clause by reference at 52.212-5, Contract
Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive
Orders-Commercial Items. However, for paragraph (b) only the following
clauses apply: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities;
52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for
Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36,
Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers with Disabilities;
52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the
Vietnam Era; and 52.247-64, Preference for Privately Owned U.S.-Flag
Commercial Vessels. Incorporate DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Executive Orders
Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. However, for
paragraph (b), only the following clause applies: 252.225-7001, Buy
American Act and Balance of Payments Program. The contractor shall
extend to the government their standard warranty offered in similar
types of sales. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the
government_s right with regard to the other terms and conditions of the
contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the
contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period
shall begin upon final acceptance of the items listed in the schedule.
