overhaul and test 55 each Hoist Winch Combination Valves, Hydreco, Inc.
Part Number 8379909; and 55 each Main Winch combination Valves,
Hydreco, Inc. Part Number 10867174. The contractor shall perform all
tests as specified in the Acceptance Test, DMWR 9-2500-501. Contractor
shall provide the Government written certifications that each valve is
operational and ready to function in the vehicle. Upon completion of
overhaul, the Contractor shall be responsible for returning refurbished
valves to Anniston Army Depot, FOB Destination. ANAD will be
responsible for all shipping, and painting the valves prior to
installation in the vehicle. The Contractor will perform all procedures
required to enable the valves to function as new. A test data sheet
must accompany each overhauled valve returned to ANAD. If any valves
are deemed unrepairable, ANAD will be responsible for shipping
replacements to the contractor. Prior to discarding any unrepairable
valves, the contractor must notify the Contracting Officer (KO),
Anniston Army Depot, in writing, the reasons a valve cannot be
repaired. Unrepairable valves shall not be discarded unless approved by
the KO, ANAD. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3492. Size
standard is 500 employees. This is a sole source procurement to
Reidville Hydraulics Inc. 87 Sharon Road, Waterbury, CT, 06705, in
accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S. C. 2304)c)(1). Reidville
Hydraulics, Inc. has proprietary rights to the internal drawings,
schematics, diagnostic test equipment, technical data, and repair parts
that are necessary to overhaul and repair the valves. Firms that
recognize and can provide this item are encouraged to identify
themselves to the Contracting Officer which would permit their
participation in future procurements only. This solicitation will be
issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and
14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing

Estimated issue date is 18 July 00. CAUTION: This solicitation will be
issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this,
the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain

obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said
amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for
bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal
