The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a Nitrate Monitor and miniature datalogger. USGS anticipates awarding to Ocean Marine Industries of Chesapeake, VA. They offer instrumentation that can measure nitrate concentrations in situ at the same accuracy that is available through laboratory analysis. Also, system is fully integrated, inter-operable system that is required to measure other water-quality parameters. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. This award will be made on or about 25 July 2000, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000,00. Any Vendors who can prove they can provide a nitrate monitor with exact capabilities are invited to provide affirmative response to this notice by faxing request to the CO at 703-648-7901. An affirmative response must include, but not limited to, offered products, price lists, warranties, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this requirement.
