The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. One (1) Seven Unit Multi-Unit 19 inch Rack-Mount Enclosure, Part Number 1874-0050; One (1) External Desktop Printer to be used for rewiring of EM4 Alarms, Part Number 874012; One (1) Blank Panel for 19 inch Rack-Mount Enclosure, Part Number 1874-0056; Five (5) 5RS232 Port Unidirectional Interface with rear access, Part Number 874021-R; One (1) Set of Casters for 19 inch Rack-Mount Enclosure, Part Number 1874-0194; One (1) Printer Share Box to interface CM4 Monitor with Printer, Part Number 1874-0010; Thirteen (13) Hydride Chemcassette, Part Number 874300; Thirteen (13) Amines Chemcassette, Part Number 874342; Thirteen (13) Chlorine Chemcassettes, Part Number 874308; Twenty-six (26) Mineral Acids Chemcassettes, Part Number 874337. This Zellweger Analytical CM4 System will augment the existing Zellweger System 16 and provide continuous gas monitoring, real time sampling and redundancy. The new system MUST be compatible with existing life safety systems used in the laboratory, therefore, this is a request for SPECIFIC MAKE AND MODEL items.
