The Eastern Administrative Support Center (EASC) intends to acquire, for the National Weather Service (NWS), contract services to provide weather observations, aviation weather documentation, related services and augmentation of the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) and backup of essential ASOS elements at the following five Eastern Region airports: (1) Buffalo, NY; (2) Cleveland, OH; (3) Columbia, SC; (4) Burlington, VT; and (5) Charleston, SC. A basic performance period of one-year, plus two one-year priced options is contemplated. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 15 days after the date of this synopsis.
