The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of contractor support tasks for current repair/retrofit requirements for the RT-1XXX(V)/APX-100 and various subassemblies/modules, including procurement of repair/replacement materials required to support the repair effort. The repair effort shall be accomplished by utilization of a firm-fixed-price 3 year IDIQ contract modification to existing Contract No. DAAB07-00-D-N406 with Raytheon Systems Company, Baltimore, Maryland. The repair tasks shall include repair of Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRA), Line replaceable Units (LRU) and indentured Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA). The services and materials to be provided to the government will not reflect total Army repair needs, but only the repair and availability needs that, which at any given point in time, are discovered to be above and beyond that which government depot facility can accomplish in the timeframe necessary, using government depot facilities and/or other levels of repair (AVIM, AVUM, etc.). The estimated maximum ordering quantity of units to be repaired over the 3 year period of performance will not exceed 430 each, all items combined. Detailed technical data or updated/current drawings are not available from the Army. The response must include documentation, such as test results, Depot repair procedures, copies of purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor/subcontractor for these services, or documentation from the prime hardware manufacturer certifying that the supplier can, in fact, successfully provide these services. Successful supplier(s) may be required to warrant that the items supplied under these services will meet the requirements of MIL-R-81876B and will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended.
