Project consists of providing and installing carpet in Building 404, Truax Field, Madison, WI, to include: (1) Remove and dispose of carpet and vinyl base. Approximate scope is 670 square yards. (2) Clean and prepare surfaces for carpet in accordance with the carpet manufacturer's requirements. Use adhesive as required by carpet manufacturer to ensure warranty is maintained. (3) Provide and install Bolyu "Ticino" nylon carpet, color-Tcn 55 Galaxy, in accordance with manufactuer's instructions. Carpet sample shall be submitted for color and style approval. (4) Provide and install 1/8" x 4" vinyl base (Johnsonite). Color will be selected to match the rest of the building. (5) Provide a carpet warranty and a one year installation warranty. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Construction time will be 59 calendar days from NTP. It is anticipated that construction will begin approximately 16 Octoboer 2000. Bid opening date will be o/a 6 September 2000.
