PURSUANT TO P. L. 100 656, SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM, THIS SOLICITATION IS CLASSIFIED AS UNRESTRICTED. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and transportation to perform construction of new front gate, located at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. The project includes, but not limited to construction of a new gate house, sentry posts, service yard, and toilet building. Existing "Parris Island" entrance sign to be relocated, new rolling security gates, masonry walls and temporary fence to be constructed. New paving, landscaping, irrigation system, other site improvements as indicated on drawings and incidental related work. The SIC Code is 1542. The size standard is $27,500,000.00. The estimated range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The estimated time for completion is 215 calendar days. The estimated solicitation release date is 2 August 2000. The estimated due date for receipt of bids is 31 August 2000. The Government intends on issuing the solicitation through the use of the Internet only.
