This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. This solicitation is a 100% for small business set-aside, the associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC ) code is 3663 (size: 750 employees). The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following items: Engineering, furnishing, installation, testing and training to provide three (3) turnkey television production vehicle systems. Systems c/o the van (commercially available vehicle, except where modification are required to meet the specification of the Statement of Work (SOW)) complete electronic news gathering (ENG) equipments, VHF/UHF TV signal acquisition equipments, video production system and various electronical, cabling. The Government inspection and acceptance will be at the contractor's facility, point of manufacture and/or integration. The Government inspector (three different Government inspectors) will travel to the contractor's facility to observe final testing and familiarization of the van systems and take delivery of the systems. Contractor shall provide on-site operator familiarization training.
