The U.S. Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for Mobile Kitchen Trailer, Improved (MKT-I) Kit, NSN: 7360-01-469-5482. The Government intends to utilize best value source selection procedures. This acquisition will be solicited and awarded as a firm-fixed-price Requirements contract with a base year and two additional one year optional ordering periods. A Technical Data Package consisting of drawings is available from our web site and may be used for reference for this item. The Mobile Kitchen Trailer, Improved (MKT-I) Kit will be used with the Kitchen, Field, Trailer mounted. Deliveries of the Mobile Kitchen Trailer, Improved (MKT-I) Kit will be F.O.B. Destination to New Cumberland, PA. Delivery Schedule shall be 120 days after issuance of individual Delivery Orders. Alternative Delivery Schedules will be considered. A best value source selection will be conducted based on the offeror's proposed price and past performance being equal. Pricing shall be filled in on the Request for Proposal DAAD15-00-R-0045 (CLIN 0001AA, 0002AA, and 0003AA). Offerors shall also submit a maximum two page past performance summary. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3499 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Request for Proposal will be posted on the Natick Acquisition Center's web site: http://www3.natick.army.mil on or about 18 July 2000. If offerors wish to be notified of amendments to this RFP, they must register for "Updates to this Solicitation" on the web site.
