This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for FIDAP Software License Renewal. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Fluent Inc. This proposed action is for services fir which the Government inntends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement ot submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals recieved by July28, 2000 will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Govenment.
