The project consists of the construction of a 27 ft. by 56 ft. two story extension to an existing office building. The 3,024 sq. ft. addition includes the installation of an elevator and a fire sprinkler system throughout the entire office building. The project also includes remodel work within the existing office building. Work includes installing a new electrical and water service to the office building and two other buildings on the site. Site work includes the excavation of classified and unclassified material, rock backfill, concrete foundation, and concrete paving. The project site is the Wrangell Ranger District Office and compound site. The District Office is located at 525 Bennett Street, Wrangell, Alaska. The Alaska Marine Ferry system and Alaska Airlines service Wrangell. Freight service includes barge line service from Seattle, Washington and conventional mail services.
