The National Park Service, Denver Service Center, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The statement of work includes connection to the City of Henderson water system; installation of a four (4) inch finished water transmission line and appurtenances; installation of a potable water distribution system and appurtenances, construction of a 150,000 gallon concrete water storage tank; installation of a raw water irrigation system and bituminous concrete overlay, and piping and electrical modifications within the existing Water Treatment Plant building. There will be no official site visit or preproposal conference. The completion of work is 300 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Award of a single contract will be made to the best value offeror. Because this acquisition could result in an award over $1,000,000, a subcontracting plan will be required by the selected firm, if the firm is a large business concern.
