The work to be performed consists of, but is not limited to providing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for the repair of Berms/Basins/Bulk Storage at Charleston AFB, SC, Project No. DKFX 94-1061. The work includes, but is not limited to the following major items of work; Remove and replace existing concrete cover over containment berms at the POL Bulk Storage area, Provide new berm stairs, Remove existing conduit as indicated and bury under new concrete berm, Remove fuel pipe partially embedded in concrete containment floor and replace with underground fuel pipe, Provide 34_ pressure relief line to tanks 2 and 5 for future use, Clean and reseal joints in existing concrete containment floors, replace drain valves with locking-type rising stem gate valves for each containment area, Provide concrete floors for drain valve pits, Replace double block and bleed valves encased in concrete at valve pits 2J and 3J, Dispose of removed material as hazardous waste, where applicable, and dispose of all soil as hazardous waste. The solicitation will be evaluated using Price/Performance Trade-off. Performance time is 130 calendar days. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and will be evaluated under the HUBZONE preference program.
