The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to acquire the following spare parts and associated quantities that support the AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder Radar System: 2 each Push Switch, NSN: 5930-01-432-5077; 2 each Connector Assemblies, NSN: 5935-01-432-5057; 2 each Connnector Assemblies, NSN: 5935-01-432-5062; 9 each Special Cable Assemblies, NSN: 5995-01-432-5093; 1 each Special Cable Assembly, NSN: 5995-01-432-5095; and 26 each Connector Assemblies, NSN: 5935-01-434-6068. Packaging requirements for these items shall be in accordance with ASTM-D 3951-98. Delivery requirements are 180 days after contract to both New Cumberland Army Depot and Distribution Depot San Joaquin, Stockton, CA. Sole source negotiation is proposed with Northrop Grumman Corporation, ESSS-DSD, Rolling Meadows, IL pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a), Only One Responsible Source. The Government does not possess the technical data necessary to define the form, fit, function or performance of the required spares to allow for a competitive acquisition.
