Solicitation Number is 6TSA-00-RAE-0218 for Telecommunications Maintenance and Follow-On Services for Government-owned Nortel SL-100 switching systems located within the South Kansas City, MO metropolitan area. GSA may also order equipment, services, new PBX systems and/or maintenance of existing systems, including systems which meet the exclusive-use requirements of other Federal agencies, located within this geographic boundary. The Government may also utilize this contract as a source of supply for the purchase, installation, maintenance and miscellaneous services for Nortel proprietary instruments, key system equipment, and ancillary devices. The Government has determined that ONLY Nortel Authorized Distributors of Meridian SL-100 Equipment can submit offers as prime contractors under this solicitation. All offerors submitting proposals must provide proof of their status as a Nortel Authorized Distributor of Meridian SL-100 Equipment. The proposing contractor will be required to furnish a current letter of good standing or a manufacturer's support commitment letter from Nortel. This procurement will be full and open competition restricted to Nortel authorized distributors with OEM Certifications. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Fixed Price contract is contemplated. The term of the contract will be a base period of two (2) years with three (3) one-year options. The estimated value is $10,000,000. The minimum guaranteed amount will be $400,000. The solicitation will be available on or about July 17, 2000.
