N -- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, UPGRADE BASE FIRE DETECTION & ALARM SYSTEM SOL DAHA08-00-B-0001 POC Captain William L. Markham, Contracting Officer Project involves selective demolition of existing analog fire detection and alarm system and install of new Base-wide analog addressable fire detection and alarm system network conforming to the applicable requirements of CFR 28, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, and NFPA 90. Contract will include providing material, tools, equipment, installation, connection, testing and certification necessary for and incidental to the provision of a complete and usable Base-wide analog addressable fire detection and alarm system. System components shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Graphics Command Center, Remote Monitoring Station, network compatible fire alarm control panels, fire alarm annunciator panels, fire alarm terminal cabinets, analog addressable initiating devices, signaling devices, addressable control modules, monitoring modules, auxiliary control devices, and power supplies as indicated on applicable plans and specifications. Project is located at the Florida Air National Guard Base, International Airport, Jacksonville, FL. Estimated magnitude of construction is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The Standard Identification Codes (SIC) are 1731 and 3669. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) are 23531 and 33429. A single firm fixed priced contract will result from this solicitation. NOTE: The business size for this procurement has not yet been determined for setaside concerns.
