The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks to award a one-year contract with four option years for sign language interpreting services. USAID currently has approximately 14-hearing impaired, hard of hearing and deaf employees who periodically require the services of a sign language interpreter. Regularly scheduled sign language interpreter services are required for some of the employees while others will require services on an ad-hoc basis. It is estimated that an RFP will be issued on or about July 24, 2000. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (Word format). If you require a copy of the solicitation in paper form, you must specifically ask for it, but you will not receive both a copy in paper form and a floppy disk.
