Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the moisture-proofing and prevention of water infiltration into twenty three (23) headquarters buildings and thirty-two (32) barracks buildings at Fort Drum, New York. Project will include removing and providing matching sections of cracked split face CMU and clay face brick; constructing new expansion joints; providing backer rod and flexible sealant; weather sealing windows and roof flashings; removing cracked mortar joints and replace with mortar joint or flexible sealant around pre-cast concrete bands, lintels, and accent pieces; providing masonry stain for the exterior CMU veneer on three (3) buildings and providing water repellent for all CMU and selected areas of brick veneer in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. This will be a "Firm Fixed Price Requirements" type construction contract. This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1741. This procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 9, 2000. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page.
