Proposals will be opened on 8-22-00 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $1,250,000 and $1,750,000. This project requires careful scheduling and coordination to prevent disruption of mail processing activities. A proposed schedule is included in the solicitation. Successful offerors shall either conform to the specified schedule or provide a revised schedule wih their proposal that meets the approval of the Contracting Officer. There will be a pre-proposal meeting on 8-3-00 at 1 PM in the St Louis Main Post Office, Room 3007. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 454 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICA-TIONS.
