Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the installation of eighteen (18) stationary armor target positions and five (5) stationary infantry target positions; removal of existing observation tower and construction of a new observation tower; construction of five (5) concrete generator pads and a concrete battle position; enclosing existing mess pavilion; construction of a target storage shed and an ammunition breakdown building; removal of existing moving target storage buildings; and level, clear and provide 6 inches of crushed stone on two roads in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Construction". This procurement is Set-Aside for small business concerns pursuant to the Department of Defense reinstatement of Small Business Set-Asides for certain acquisitions under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1629. This procurement is subject to availability of funds and is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 9, 2000. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided.
