Alameda Parkway P. O. Box 25287, Denver, CO 80225, Attn: IMDE-AS B -- ETHNOGRAPHIC OVERVIEW AND ASSESSMENT SOL Q1248000022 POC Tom
Forsyth 303-969-2796 (fax 303-969-2063) The project consists of the
preparation of an ethnographic overview and assessment of Great Sand
Dunes National Monument, Colorado. It is the purpose of the solicited
research to provide an inventory of American Indian ethnographic
resources within the monument as they are reflected in existing
records. The overview may also require limited site visits and/or
interviews with representatives of selected Indian communities.
Information resulting from this effort will form the basis for an
ethnographic database that will be used by National Park Service (NPS)
personnel to fully consider impacts to these resources that may result
from proposed NPS actions. Solicitation will be in accordance with
Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, Simplified Acquisition
Procedures. A written Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be available on
or about 8/2/00 with written quotes due two weeks from the issue date
of the RFQ. Price and other factors (such as experience, technical
expertise, and past performance) will be evaluated in determining the
successful quoter. The evaluation criteria will be listed in the RFQ.
To request the RFQ, call or fax your request to Tom Forsyth (phone:
303-969-2796, fax: 303-969-2063). If you request by fax, call to
confirm receipt of fax. Posted 07/18/00 (W-SN476230). (0200) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0012 20000720\B-0001.SOL)
